Yup I said it. Embattled former NFL star and current PETA enemy #1, Michael Vick, is going to be the new Vikings QB…granted starting after week 6 when he is actually eligible to play an NFL game. Think this isn’t plausible? You know who the Vikings two best options are right now at QB? Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels. Yeah, now you know why the Vikings were so interested in forever retiring / old man Brett Favre.
It would be one thing if the Vikings didn’t have some offensive talent – but they do, not only do they have young star RB Adrian Peterson but they also have a trio of young, fast and talented WR’s, including this years #22 overall draft pick Percy Harvin (Florida). Add in veteran Bernad Berrian and you have a fairly deep Wide receiver crew. Now add Vick to that, assuming he can still throw and run, all of sudden you have a triple threat that will be leaving defenses scrabbling.
So, when the Vikings sign Vick make sure you let people know you heard it from me first.
