Some might say that my list of the greatest movies of 2009 is late since these types of lists usually get posted before the years ends. Yeah right. having a 2009 list in 2010 shows that I put full thought into all 365 days of the year. Take that list mongers.
So, below are the top 7 movies of 2009 (that I saw) . Why only 7? Because who has the time to see every movie that comes out?

- The Hurt Locker – what an amazing and powerful movie. Still waiting for my hearing to return to normal…
- UP – a instant Disney classic
- Star Trek – it is no secret that I am a huge Star trek fan and this movie, for once, didn’t let me down. Hoping this leads to a new TV series.
- The Road – great movie but left the theater all stressed out.
- The Hangover – funniest movie I have seen in a long time.
- District 9 – a movie that started with little hype but great a ton of interest through Social Media. Good movie and one that will be better once you watch a couple of times.
- Inglourious Basterds – not in my top 5 Tarantino movies but still very entertaining.
